Elderly massage is offered to clients in a two-fold structure. We offer elderly massage to clients who want to experience massage and receive the benefits of massage.
We are also able to teach staff at residential care homes, day care centres and the like, elderly massage, so that their client base can benefit from receiving massage on a daily basis.
Elderly massage is incredibly powerful as it works on the basis that touch is powerful and helps to keep us connected with each other.
We encourage a safe and nurturing touch with our elderly massage, which is of particular significance for people who are older, who may feel isolated and lonely.
Our massage therapists will attend your nursing home, day care centre, group etc, to provide relaxing massages for those who are in their later years.
Elderly massage helps to calm the mind and body – which is particularly powerful for those who experience dementia or are carers. A regular massage will help you to feel more relaxed and could also help you to sleep better.
We are passionate about massage and so would like to pass on our knowledge about massage and its’ benefits.
Our elderly massage course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn how to give elderly massage. We will teach staff or groups of individuals a massage routine that will help to ease stiffness and aches.
You will be guided by a trained therapist, who will answer any questions you may have about your elderly massage and give as much advice and tips about massage.
We have found that older people respond particularly well to a safe and gentle elderly massage to the hands and feet.
It is non obtrusive, there is no disrobing and is easy to carry out without feeling uncomfortable, having to mount massage beds, etc.
A regular elderly massage for elderly people will help to release feel good chemicals, trigger off the receptors to the brain so that we feel more alert and will address physical ailments as well, helping to boost circulation for instance.
We are passionate about extending our services to the growing silver population and so if you would like to find out more about our elderly massage service, please email us. We will be delighted to hear from you.

I asked Lubna to come in and teach my staff how to perform hand massages on my elderly residents.
The staff really enjoyed it but the biggest benefit was to the residents, especially those who have dementia.
The touch element seemed to calm our quite vocal residents.
I am thrilled with the results and urge care homes to speak to Lubna about introducing hand massage into their homes.
Thank you Lubna!
