Corporate Massage Benefits
Corporate Massage Benefits
Corporate massage benefits both the employee and the employer and is the ultimate win win situation.
Corporate massage benefits the employee since our literal hands on approach addresses muscular tension, knots, aches and pains locked into the body.
A regular corporate massage benefits the body since it will begin to help ease away the tightness that we experience, particularly in our back, shoulders and neck area.
It is not surprising that a massage benefits the back, neck and shoulders, since we sit for long periods of time, over our desks, concentrating, usually with our shoulders high and our heads jutting out from our necks.
A massage works on our shoulders by helping to release the tension locked in, releasing the knots and helping to improve the flexibility of the shoulders.
Many people experience headaches whilst at work, and this could be for a number of reasons, including dehydration, stress and tension.
Corporate massage benefits the head, since it will get the circulatory system working more efficiently. In a nut shell, it gets blood pumping around the body more efficiently and will bring oxygenated blood up to the brain.
This is why after a corporate massage, you feel more focussed and have better clarity on a situation.
Studies have shown that those who received a massage were able to complete mental arithmetic tasks much quicker than those who did not have a massage.
We know that a massage makes us feel good and one of the reasons why we feel good is because after a corporate massage, endorphins are released from the brain. It is this chemical/hormone that has the job of neutralising the stress hormone that is released in our body, called cortisol.
Consequently, a massage benefits not only muscular pains but also our daily experience of stress. We love it because it is natural, has immediate effect and most of all puts a smile on your face.
Corporate massage benefits the employer as well. Employers will benefit from having staff who feel less stressed – and so will work more to their optimum level.
Since staff will feel more valued and cared for. It then goes that they will want to give back to their employer with wanting to perform better.
It is a leap of good faith and employers who have foresight realise and recognise that this is the consequence of their investment.
Studies are also beginning to show that by investing £1 in health and wellbeing, gives a return of investment of £4 (PWC).

I asked Lubna to come in and teach my staff how to perform hand massages on my elderly residents.
The staff really enjoyed it but the biggest benefit was to the residents, especially those who have dementia.
The touch element seemed to calm our quite vocal residents.
I am thrilled with the results and urge care homes to speak to Lubna about introducing hand massage into their homes.
Thank you Lubna!
